The garden of the Museu de la Vida Rural.
The RUSC poetry festival comes back, one more year, to l’Espluga de Francolí.
«The desire that moves us to maintain a RUSC (beehive) of poets in the context of the Museu de la Vida Rural is the necessity to provide and consume poetry, to bring poets closer to an audience that is hungry for words, making available in the height of the summer, right before the town’s ‘Festa Major’, a selection of different kinds of honey coming from all the corners of Catalonia.
A beehive attached to l’Espluga, a poetry festival at the heart of the Conca de Barbera. It is known that bees always choose the most suitable place, the spot where conditions can be the most favourable, the peace and purity of the environment, a mild climate; an ancient knowledge that ensures the quality of honey, on which the life of the whole swarm relies.
Thus, the fourth RUSC festival will revolve around three young voices with a recognized track record; they are Miriam Cano, David Caño and Esteve Plantada. They will be joined by two experienced, high-flying voices: Francesc Parcerisas and Susanna Rafart. In the evening, RUSC will come to a close with a performance by the singer-songwriter Roger Puig.»
